Terms of Service

These Terms are an agreement between you and Jomoq, based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada. They govern your use of the Jomoq website, application, and related services (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy.

1. The Service

Jomoq is an AI workspace: chat with AI models, research with sources, build live web pages, and publish them to Explore, our public feed. AI features depend on third-party model providers and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 13 (or the age of digital consent where you live) and provide accurate information. You are responsible for activity under your account. Accounts are managed through our sign-in provider.

3. Plans, credits, and billing

Plans are priced in credits. One credit is one unit of AI work; what an action costs depends on the model and the kind of work, and anything run on your own API key costs no credits. Each plan includes a monthly allowance that refreshes at the start of your billing period and does not carry over. The current plans are Free (50 credits a month, chat and research only), Pro (USD $20 a month, 500 credits, includes the builder), Studio (USD $60 a month, 2,000 credits, priority support), and Scale (USD $200 a month, 8,000 credits, direct support from the team). Prices are shown before tax. Paid plans are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel; cancelling stops future charges and your plan stays active until the end of the paid period. Credit top-ups are one-off purchases added to your balance and are not removed by the monthly refresh. Fees are non-refundable except where the law requires. We may change prices, plan contents, or credit costs with advance notice.

Founding accounts. The first 1,000 accounts receive a Founding tier at no charge: the builder, deploys, and publishing, a monthly allowance (currently 150 credits), and up to five live published projects at a time. Founding status stays with the account that earned it. A paid plan takes precedence while it is active, and the account returns to Founding, not Free, if the paid plan ends. Founding is a promotional grant: we may adjust its allowance or limits with notice, and we may remove it from an account that violates these Terms.

Earned credits. Some actions, such as publishing a project or having your work remixed, grant small amounts of credit, subject to monthly caps. Earned credits have no cash value, cannot be transferred or refunded, and may be changed or withdrawn with notice.

4. Your content

You own the content you submit and the pages you create. You give us the limited license needed to host, process, transmit, and display that content in order to run the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to what you upload.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to: break the law; infringe others’ rights; distribute malware or phishing pages; harass or harm others; probe or disrupt our systems; circumvent usage limits; or resell the Service. We may remove content or pages that violate this section.

6. AI output

AI output can be wrong, incomplete, or biased. It is provided for information only and is not professional advice. Review output before relying on it or publishing it. You are responsible for how you use it.

7. Your own API keys

If you add your own provider API key, it is stored in your browser and passed through our relay to the provider you chose. Usage on your key is governed by your agreement with that provider.

8. Publishing, Explore, and remixing

Publishing a project lists it on Explore, our public feed, under a public handle on your profile. Anyone, including people without an account, can view a published project, and signed-in users can like, comment on, follow, report, and remix it. A remix is a copy another user builds on; remixes carry a visible attribution chain back to the original, which survives even if the original is later unpublished. Publishing is available on plans that include the builder.

License. If you publish with the MIT license option on (the default), you license the project's code to everyone under the MIT License, so others may reuse it, inside or outside Jomoq, with attribution. If you turn the option off, others may still view the page and remix it within Jomoq, with attribution, but receive no license to use the code elsewhere. Either way you keep ownership of your work and are responsible for having the rights to everything in it.

Published pages are your responsibility. We may unpublish pages, remove comments, or restrict accounts that violate these Terms, our Community Guidelines, or applicable law.

9. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and branding, belongs to Jomoq and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights in it beyond normal use of the Service. If you believe content on the Service infringes your copyright, email jomoq.project@gmail.com with details and we will review and, where appropriate, remove it.

10. Termination

You can stop using the Service or delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create risk for the Service or other users. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including 4, 6, 11, 12, and 13) survive.

11. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jomoq is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim and CAD $50. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable in Ontario. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts located in Ottawa, Ontario, and you consent to their jurisdiction.

14. Changes

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will update the date above and give reasonable notice. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

15. Support and contact

If something breaks, including a build that fails or a charge you do not recognise, use the support page or the “Report a problem” action inside the app. Every report gets a reply by email; Studio and Scale reports are handled with priority. For anything else, email jomoq.project@gmail.com.
